Tenant Edge Logo
Tenant Edge is a commercial real estate team at Lee & Associates who specialize in Tenant Representation and they wanted a logo for their new team. They envisioned a more modern yet professional logo that steered away from the typical serif style real estate team logo. I was the sole designer for this project and was responsible for the full creation of the logo.
I wanted to play with the word "edge" since it carries power and playfulness. I experimented with a few versions with a play on "edge" but they weren't as clean and visually appealing as the final logo. They wanted to have the secondary text in the logo as well so to add a unique flair, I thought it'd be fun to slice the main thick text so the secondary text can be nested in the main text.

I enjoyed making this logo because it challenged me to create a modern logo for an industry that is very corporate. I felt proud and excited to create something different than the pack yet still professional.

CONCLUSION

Logo design takes a lot of patience and iterations where I let my pencil draw without pause. This skill has helped me with user experience design because during the process of being open to solutions it's important to let ideas flow for the best concept that you and the team can build off of. I enjoy this process because it allows me to trust my creativity in finding a solution.
